Summer over already?

I just recently officially became an instructor for two logic courses and so I check my newly formed email account. Turns out I have like 20 campus/faculty news/junk in just a few days. More email to sift through. Anyway, the course doesn’t start for another 22 days and already a student has […]

One down, one more to go…

I have 3 weddings in 4 weeks, and today was the second in a row. One more right after I get back from Asia, which will be such a relief. My Saturday’s are always taken up. Although I think I’m done for the rest of the year, just found out that I […]

oh the busyness…

I’ll be flying out to Korea and Hong Kong next week for about 10 days. It’s been 3 years since I’ve been in Korea and 8 for HK. Though I’ll be super busy putting together a Logic course while I’m out there, I’m looking forward to a few things in Korea:

Food (in no […]

breaking down…

I don’t know what’s going on with me, but over the last month, I’ve been suffering from various ailments:

Chronic back problems
Sprained ankle
Sprained wrist
sunburned legs
Food or water poisoning
Whiplash
Food poisoning

Funny thing is, I’m still suffering from most of these.  Seems like everyone else in our age group is breaking down too…Is it just that time?

pirates…

I wanted to watch Superman, but due to the timing, I ended up watching Pirates of the Caribbean. Again, I was pretty tired and it was another late show. And this time I dozed off for a few minutes during the big action scene. I had recently scene the original movie just […]

USA Basketball

First of all, I think Tiger’s back. His eagle was amazing, reminiscent of his earlier days.
Anyway, I was on Espn.com and there was a survey about who you’d pick to be on the USA B-Ball team. Which 12 would you pick? Would you just pick the best 12 players or pick the […]

DaVinci Code

So I finally saw The Da Vinci Code last night. I read the book a few months back, which was pretty good (as far as stories go). The movie, however, wasn’t as good, but not just because I read the book first. Yes, it wasn’t as good for that reason as well, […]

exhausted indeed…

So I pretty much went to sleep after my last post, around 6pm. Didn’t even have dinner and woke up a few times this morning around 4am, and eventually got up about 9am. I guess I was more tired than I thought, because I can count the number of times I’ve slept more […]

exhausted

Wow, it’s been pretty crazy these last 2 days. On Friday, my cousin and his family were over so that they could go to a wedding even further south than here the next morning. I stayed up till about 3am and woke up at 6:30 to the sounds of little toddlers crying. […]

illiterate

I wish I understood .php.  Oh well, setting up a photo album that I want will take some time.
So Farmar’s been playing pretty well in Summer league. 17, 13, 21 points.  Not bad, with a few assists here and there, very few TO’s, and some clutch baskets.   I know it’s only summer league and it’s […]

wimbledon…belated

I don’t like Federer, but he’s amazing. I just don’t know how someone his size chases down balls like he does (among everything else that he does well). Nadal’s always been weird, and he’s lucky to have made it past the quarters. He had a relatively easy draw and got lucky a […]

Posting frenzy

I think I’m going to try and post something everyday or most likely every other day. Why? I don’t know. I’ll be trying to accomplish a few things :

I’ll be slowly posting up pictures from the last few years.
While I prepare for the logic courses I’m teaching in the Fall, I’ll post […]

malfunction

My goal of becoming a machine failed this past year, and I thought I’d try to repair myself this summer.  So far, I’m still a bit rusty.  Hopefully, by the fall, I’ll be able to do things when I should, if not earlier.  SoCal summer is not making my progress any easier.  I need […]

Still tinkering…

Please bear with me as I am still trying to settle on a theme, though I may stick with this one.  If you have comments on it, let me know. How do i change the color of the title of this blog?

San Gorgonio pix are up…

Ok, I’ve put up the pictures under “Pages”. It’s password protected, but I’ve given you a hint. If you don’t know, just ask. I may give it to you…

wear and tear…

so before i conquered San Gorgonio, I already had a sprained ankle and wrist. So, up there I was a little worried. Turns out, I must have tweaked my ankle about 5 times, causing alot of pain. Putting on a backpack is hard to do with a hurt wrist. Anyway, the […]
